As requested here is the Prelude Op. 28, No. 22 (Molto agitato) by Chopin in G minor/g moll. This Prelude begins with a characteristic dotted rhythm with octaves in the left hand (eighth, dotted eighth, and sixteenth notes) that Scriabin was later to adopt in his early Chopin-esque preludes.. As requested here is the Prelude Op. 28, No. 21 (Cantabile) by Chopin in B flat major/B dur. While the right hand sings a simple melody, the left plays continuous doubled eighth notes characterized by chromatic movement, including chromatic nonharmonic tones, taken up by the right hand also in the latter half of the piece. Astonishing. If you’d like (not sure if you have the time), Maestro Barenboim has a filmed master class with Lang Lang on RUclips. Parts of Sonatas 16 and 30 were also spoken in great detail. Look up “Barenboim Masterclass” and he speaks of great detail! It was both amazing to see you and they play this amazing work. Bravo

I’m not sure if I will manage this one, but it is my long time favourite and my teacher agreed (having doubts, as I have to confess). Problem is left hand, your hands can reach so far, certainly more than one octave. Would you consider this essential? Anyhow, beautifully played ❤
You can always roll the chords on the left hand or play the bass first and then the other notes :) So yeah.. definitely try it out :)
